Cardiovascular health is a growing concern among the mature population. You do not need to be mature to be concerned though, as cardiovascular health is important to all of us, and there are a few simple things you can do to improve yours. A persons cardiovascular health is influenced by many things, including eating habits, physical activity, and mental and emotional stress, and the connection between physical activity and cardiovascular health is becoming more obvious.

One of the best ways to ensure better cardiovascular health is by developing good eating habits, and having regular exercise. The traditional exercise prescription for cardiovascular health is to exercise for 30-40 minutes between three and six times a week at a vigorous pace. The link between exercise and improved cardiovascular health is not exactly a new revelation. Regular exercise, designed around a patient's physical abilities and limitations, yields many benefits one of which is the fact that cardiovascular health is improved. The best exercise for cardiovascular health is aerobics (that which make your body use more oxygen and "burn" calories continuously).
