A freelancer is a person who works by himself doing works for other people per project basis or ongoing basis, you have control of your working hours and you decide how many project you want to work in a month.
You just have to look at the freelance networks, browse the different categories based on what you want to work on or what you have skills and bid how much you want to get paid to get the job done. If the employer choose you, you have to get done the work on the deadline established, but you decide how many hours you work and at what time you work.
