How to reduce the symptoms of leaky gut syndrome?

First, we need to eliminate the causes of leaky gut syndrome.

• Candidiasis
• Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS)
• Prescribed medications
• Stress
• Excessive alcohol
• Poor diet
• Food allergies
• Food sensitivities

are some of the main contributors to leaky gut syndrome.

1. To eliminate the yeast candida albicans you will have to follow an anti-candida diet and take supplements which will help to destroy the yeast.

2. Try to avoid taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) as these will make your condition worse and will hinder your recovery.

3. Exclude all foods which can cause an allergic reaction, it is best to keep to a purer diet and cut out foods such as:
• Sugar
• White flour
• Dairy products such as milk, cheese and yoghurt
• Gluten products such as wheat, barley, oats and rye
• Caffeine products such as coffee, tea, soft drinks and chocolate
• Foods high in fat
• Alcohol
• Processed foods
• Fast food

4. When eating food, make sure you chew your food properly before swallowing, remember your stomach does not have teeth and this will help with the proper digestion of your food.

5. Eat small amounts of foods often throughout the day, it is best to have regular small meals throughout the day rather than three large meals.

6. Drink plenty of still mineral water (not cold or carbonated) throughout the day, this is best between meals.

7. To improve digestion, if you can tolerate it, take betaine hydrochloric acid supplements or digestive enzymes. If you can not tolerate betaine hydrochloric acid, some people find that adding lemon juice from half a lemon with a couple of teaspoons of cider vinegar to a glass of still mineral water and sipping it throughout their meal helps with their digestion.

8. Taking supplements will also help with leaky gut syndrome; any of the following supplements will help you with your digestion:
