I had tried all the different exercises to lose love handles but my problem was that I couldn't stick with these regimented programs. I'm a busy guy with a career and a family. Sometimes it is impossible to stick to an exercise program. My exercises to lose love handles would work for a while but as soon as I stopped the love handles would come right back.

I'd start the exercise programs - I'd go to the gym 3 times a week before work and do the regular work outs such as sit ups and push ups and some light weight lifting. But then I'd have an early meeting at work scheduled and I'd miss a day at the gym and then one of the kids would be sick and I'd miss another day and before you knew it I was paying for a gym membership and not using it at all.

Plus I found all those exercises boring. There are only so many sit ups or push ups I can do without my mind going numb and wanting something more exciting to occupy it.

I tried running. Every morning I'd get up 30 minutes early and go for a jog. But then again an early scheduled meeting or a late night out would interrupt my running program and before you knew it I was staying in my nice warm bed and not running anymore. And once again the old love handles would be right back.

I knew what my problem was - it was my inability to take action. Oh, I'd take action and begin to do the exercises to lose love handles but I'd never follow through with it.

But there comes a time in every ones life when they have to face up to the facts. And the facts of my life were that I was fat and had love handles and I didn't want to be fat and have love handles. I wanted to be slimmer and in good condition.

So I decided then and there that I was going to change my diet and get fit. The first thing I did was to research the best possible diet for myself. I found that a diet high in vegetables and fruits was the healthiest possible choice. I also decided that the meats I would eat would be lean and low fat. No more burgers and fries for me. I also included in my diet whole grain breads, rice and pastas.

Next was the exercise program. That was a lot tougher as I had failed sticking to any exercise program so many times before. But this time I was determined to take action and follow through.

When researching I found so many books and programs that it was almost impossible to choose one. Especially when researching on the web. I was looking for a program that would go hand in hand with my new healthier diet.

After all my research I found that the right exercise for me was simply walking. I have always loved to go walking. To me it's not boring as it makes my mind more alert as I walk through the different neighborhoods of my city. I walk to and from work every day now. It's about a 45 minute walk each way and it relaxes me as well - especially after a stressful day at work.

This is one exercise to lose love handles that I have stuck to because I actually like it. I have also managed to stick to my new diet. Like I said - I was bound and determined to make this work and I took action and followed through.

I don't know if the diet and exercise program I use will work for you. You may have to find what works best for yourself.

All I can say is bye bye love handles and hello health.
