Today's mobile telephony market is so competitive that you just can't afford to rest on your laurels, no matter how great they are. Nokia had recently announced their all new N95 some days back, fantasising about which, gizmo freaks all over the world wowed in their sleep. Now the cyber sphere is abuzz with the rumours of all new N97, which promises to be bigger, better and sleeker.
Though Nokia hasn't officially announced any plans to introduce it, gossip mongers have dug out not just the specifications, but photographs of the prototype of the N97 as well. Rumour mill has it that the phone will have a resplendent 3 inch LCD screen to wow everyone. The camera is said to be a massive 5MP with at least 20X zoom. Mobile imaging has got seriously professional. But the party doesn't end here. There is a rumoured 2.4 optical zoom in the main camera and a frontal video messaging camera as well.
But the best part is that N97 is supposed to have a mammoth 20GB hard disk space to carry around your own little world on the go in your cell phone. There is even going to be a micro SD slot to carry even more if you want! The other astounding feature is that unlike other battery guzzler high end multimedia phones, rumour mongers say that Nokia N97 will have 400+ hour standby time, 4+ hour talk time and 24+ hour music playback (earphones) and 6+ hour music playback (speakers)!! That is lot to squeeze in a just a cell phone after all.
More of a portable multimedia computer than an ordinary mobile handset, Nokia N97 has created a stir in the market. No doubt, it will be on the top slot of every techno-freak's wish list.
