Another Rousse trainee Play Of The Day was released as the odds-on favorite again on Sunday afternoon seeking his fifth straight win.
A wire to wire win resulted in the fourth Saratoga victory in a row for the claiming pacer as he took over the lead as the winningest horse at the meet thus far through the first six weeks of the season.
Only a couple of races later, Wealth Of Nations scored his fourth victory at the meet for the Coppola-Rousse combo going wire to wire to complete a big weekend for the leaders in the driver and trainer standings, respectively.

This week
As tough as it is for a horse to win from post eight, especially on a half mile track, the horse starting from the outside still needs to garner a look.
Though difficult to overcome post eight, a horse is bound to be all kinds of value when saddled with the tough task from the outside.

You can make a good case to bet against them because of their post so if favored, you may want to look elsewhere.
On the other hand, if the best horse has the eight hole and goes off at decent odds, this is a golden opportunity to get, say, 3-1 or 4-1 on a horse that may be 3-5 or 4-5 from a better post.
