Racy films have sex on the brain

Generally regarded as one of the worst films of the year, GOOD LUCK CHUCK (R/unrated, *1/2 ) tried to mine the same raunchy territory as "Superbad" with half of the talent.

There are two main issues with the film: Most guys would love to be in Charlie's shoes, and Cook and Alba are not dynamic actors. Cook's shameless mugging works better in his standup routine. And while Alba is mind- blowingly hot, she has yet to prove she is more than a pretty face.

I'm not sure who the audience for this film is - most women will be turned off by the flesh parade. Perhaps a new genre: the frat-boy romantic comedy?
