Health Care Topics to Consider

When discussing Health Care and yes we need continued dialogue and consideration, because this issue is not going away anytime soon. It should not be a partisan issue, it is a national issue and yes Congress plays partisan politics on the topic of health care.

Of course also remember they (Congress) are the ones which caused this Health Care disaster, the Social Security ponsi scheme and so many other issues. When making deals across the isle they all give a little so everyone gets what they want, but in the end their compromises solve little if anything in all too many cases.

They all help out their various careers by collecting war chest monies from lobbyist interests to keep their jobs and some bring home some bacon. But the Federal Government need not be a Pork Factory, even in the year of the Pig.

Now then let’s talk about health care. We should not grant free-rides. If someone abuses drugs they will need a heart valve at age 35, whose paying? Next, people who do not walk 3-miles per day over age 40 are costing us dearly, and the food they consume; Diabetes. We have smokers, alcohol abusers too.

If people want health care they must be held accountable too. The blending and deal making in Congress many speak of is desirable to a point, however when those points go beyond the mission statement, we need to hold short and resist. What FDR started with SS was never meant to be what it is today.

Until we handle these crisis’ we really have no business charging off and charging up a storm on the high interest plastic cards and leaving the debt to our children? I certainly hope this article is of interest and that is has propelled thought. The goal is simple; to help you in your quest to be the best in 2007. I thank you for reading my many articles on diverse subjects, which interest you.
