LANCASTER, CA) - After opening the season with seven games on the road, the Lancaster JetHawks, Class A affiliate of the World Champion Boston Red Sox, will celebrate its first homestand starting Thursday, April 10. The first four games will offer a chance for revenge against the Lake Elsinore Storm, the San Diego Padres affiliate that knocked the JetHawks out the playoffs last season, while the last three games are against the Modesto Nuts, a Colorado Rockies farm club.

Opening weekend is filled with extra bonuses for fans presented by LA/Palmdale Regional Airport. The first 1,000 attendees to Thursday's and Saturday's games against the Storm will receive free JetHawks magnet schedules. Opening night Thursday is the first Cheers Bucks Beers Night, with $1 domestic draught beer available through the sixth inning, presented by Coach's Sports Bar & Grill. Friday night also be the first "Friday Night Fireworks" show of the season, a new series of post-game spectaculars that will take place after every Friday night home game.

The Modesto series will kick-off the JetHawks popular weekday promotions. On Feed-Your-Face Mondays, fans get a Reserve Section ticket plus all-you-can-eat hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn and peanuts for just $10. An annual tradition returns on Tumbleweed Tuesday's when Reserve Section tickets will be priced according to the wind speed the day before - just ten cents per MPH!
